adeo, makers of the wildly popular

“TrackMania” series, was acquired by French

video game publisher and developer Ubisoft in 2009.

To bring Nadeo’s games to a wider audience, Ubisoft

enlisted its worldwide projects coordination director,

Anne Blondel-Jouin, to serve as managing director

of Nadeo Publishing. Working in this capacity

since April 2011, she has played an instrumental

role in the launch of ManiaPlanet, an online hub

for Nadeo’s various multiplayer titles, including

the first-person “ShootMania Storm” and racing

games “Trackmania² Canyon,” “Trackmania² Valley”

and “Trackmania² Stadium.” In building business

development, public relations and marketing

teams to promote these titles, she has raised their

popularity among competitive gamers, enabling

Ubisoft to take its place in the growing e-sports

scene. She has made further use of social media to

forge direct connections with gamers, get feedback

on new releases and build upon the ManiaPlanet

community, which currently consists of more than

10 million registered online players. Meanwhile,

she continues to negotiate potential third-party

development contracts with external partners such

as Q Entertainment, which teamed with Ubisoft to

release the critically acclaimed “Child of Eden.”

to an ongoing exchange between a user and
